The STL file boasts approximately three hundred thirty thousand polygons. This breathtaking Earth Contour Map showcases varied heights of land masses, hills and water in striking detail. Some heights have been intentionally exaggerated or reduced for enhanced print quality. Water levels are particularly prominent due to artistic intent. Earth Contour Map is derived from freely accessible NASA-released images. We crafted a unique contour map by blending colour levels of satellite images using GIMP software. This "bump" or "displacement map" was then applied to displace a plane with an astonishing five million polygons.
