Earth Around Sun

The Earth revolves around the Sun as the Moon orbits our planet, all part of a complex motion study achieved through the use of Planetary gears and rotary motors simulated within SolidWorks. This is not to scale! To explore this concept further, I've uploaded a complete SolidWorks assembly and constraints with the Motion Study in a zip file for download. The planetary gear model used in this simulation can be found in my Models section, where you can access the exact same gears that enable the Earth to orbit the Sun.
