This high-definition 3D model of Earth comes equipped with ultra-high resolution textures (86k) and its respective night lights, making it ideal for photorealistic HD shows. Originally created with 3ds Max 2016, this model boasts ultra-high definition textures, a dynamic day/night shader, realistic atmosphere materials, high-quality fast rendering, and real-world scale at 1:1. It is compatible with MAX 2013 and later versions. The scene contains four spheres, a Vray sun, and a Vray physical camera. The Earth's day/night textures have been divided into two parts (43,200 x 43,200 px), totaling 86,400 x 43,200 px. A specular map (43,200 x 21,600 px) has also been included, along with a highly detailed surface map that features many rivers and lakes. The cloud map (43,200 x 21,600 px) has been uniquely created to include several types of hurricanes and various cloud types, as well as clouds added to the south pole. Bump and displacement maps (43,200 x 21,600 px) have also been added, along with atmosphere layers that do not require textures. All textures are compressed TIFF files. Some previews were edited using Lightroom's color grading and contrast tools. Please note that you may need a powerful computer to load this model, but rendering times will be fast once the textures are loaded in MAX. Be patient with loading times on systems with minimum recommended RAM, and consider at least 16GB of RAM for better performance (with additional 32GB swap). A free disk space of 30GB is also required.
