I'm ready to roll out the new jewelry design into production, and I've got it all set up for 3D printing and prototyping on the CNC machine. Geometry is looking sharp, thanks to some serious fixing-up done with RP Magics software â all that mess is history now. Stats time! For this two-earring combo: There are a total of 140 little globs (yeah, I know it sounds like a lot, but bear with me). And the approximate metal weights are looking good too: Gold 14k comes in at around 30.12 grams (or 12.6 grams without the globs) â nice and light! Gold 18k is just shy of 37.24 grams (that's 15.1 grams without all the little bits). Silver 925 Sterling clocks in at a snappy 10.14grams â very sporty! Now, about the size: this particular design comes in a beautiful ring size of 18mm, which translates to around 2371.2 cubic mm of sheer model volume. Impressive, huh?
