Earphone organiser
thingiverse
Earphone wire organiser specifically designed for smartphone earphones that features a long hard piece for volume and answer call button control. This design is versatile enough to accommodate any model of earbud wires, but may require adjusting the size of the side slots according to your wire's diameter. For those who want to customise or modify its characteristics, an Autodesk Fusion 360 *.f3d file is provided. Print Settings: Printer: 3Dison Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: 100 Notes: This design works best with more elastic material and has been tested with PLA only. Printing with translucent PLA produces a better result than solid black PLA. You can achieve a nicer looking print by using 0.1 mm resolution. How to Use: There are three holes on the sides of this organiser that secure the entire earbud wire in place. The top features two holes, one on each side, while the bottom has one hole on the left side. Two grooves run from top to bottom in the middle. If you're using earphones with volume/call control, place the control section on the right groove. Use the top two holes to hold the earbuds firmly and wind the earbud sections until you can slide each wire into those holes. Don't slide the wires in yet; instead, wind the jack section around the left groove. Secure the jack by sliding the wire into the slot at the bottom. Now secure the earbuds by sliding each wire into the top holes. This allows you to free small sections of the earbuds and jack wires without unwinding the whole piece. If your earphones don't have a control section, you can wind them any way you like. Secure the entire bundle by wrapping the strap over the top, around the whole thing. The strap features a 'hooked' catch at the end that pushes into the nearer hole to secure it in place. To release the catch, press against the strap on the left of the catch and then push/slide it to the left.
