Earphone case(with rotating lid)

thingiverse

This is an earphone case with a rotating lid that uses just one rubber band to open and requires no screws at all. To open the lid, simply push it towards the left until it fully opens up. The lid gets locked in place when you close it. Check out the 4th image to understand how the rotation works due to the elongation of the rubber band. To rotate the lid correctly, make sure the case looks like images 3 and 4 before assembling with the rubber band. Instructions: Place the rubber band in the hook of the lid and the other end into the hook of LIDHOLDERP2.STL. Before you assemble, refer to the images that show the closed lid. Assemble the parts just like they're shown in the images after placing the rubber band. You're all set! Remember, the lid should be closed with the rubber band elongated. That means the lid should be in a retracted position before assembling. If the action of the rubber band is trying to close the lid instead, disassemble the container right away. Hold the lid holders with the lid and rotate it to its end, then assemble the container. If you found this helpful, please donate what you think it's worth to my PayPal account.
