I've been craving new earpads for my Pendulumic Stance headphones, but I couldn't find any in stock. Searching online only leads me to the same frustrating result: many others have encountered this problem as well. I'm hesitant to purchase a new pair of Bluetooth headphones because my Stance is double-powered, with both rechargeable and regular batteries available. When using an audio cable, like on a PS4 controller, the internal amplifier turns off, resulting in music playback even when the batteries are dead. In search of replacement earpads, I came across the Bose Quietcomfort 25 pads for 14 euros, courtesy of a discount from Thomann. This led me to design this earpad adapter. Here's how it works: First, print two adapters from the STL file. Next, remove the original earpad. Then, snap in the printed adapter. After that, insert the original foam pad (though you might not need it). Finally, secure the QC25 pads with a thin double-sided glue tape, similar to what's used for photographs. The sound quality is acceptable with the new pads, at least according to my ears.
