<p>&nbsp;</p><p>A bit dissatisfied with the stock filament sensor (and its associated workflow) I wanted to find a way to be notified of a spool finishing so that I can do a filament change.</p><h5>Problem:</h5><ol><li>The stock filament unload is unreliable</li><li>You might run out on an external perimeter causing an imperfection in the print</li><li>Your filament might run out and you not know</li><li>If you are aware you are running out soon then you have to check on your printer every few min to check how much you have left.</li></ol><h5>Benefits:</h5><ol><li>Smarthome/Alexa integration provides voice and phone notification</li><li>You don't have to visually monitor the printer or reel</li><li>Filament change how you choose, without reliance on the stock mechanism</li><li>PTFE tube mount/holder&nbsp;</li></ol><h5>Additional Required Parts:</h5><ol><li>Smart Home Door Sensor (Designed with <a href="https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003111781184.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.0.0.25b71802IcTonj">this version</a> in mind.
