Early 13th century belfry reconstruction is a highly detailed model of an authentic tower from around 1230. This type of structure was widespread in regions under German influence between the 12th and 14th century. A belfry shares similarities with keeps or donjons found in English or French castles, but it wasn't designed for long-term occupancy. As a vital component of both defensive systems and symbolic architecture, the exterior wall features ashlar construction, while interior walls are made from coarsely shaped quarry stones. The lowest floor is vaulted. The included file contains: A 9x9m footprint tower standing at 21m tall, with an entry point located 10m high. An optional pyramidal roof for added detail. Basic interior features, including wooden floors, stairs, and a substructure for the roof. Polys/Verts are also included. The models consist of: A fully mapped and textured tower, featuring simple diffuse maps only. Models are in real-world scale, measured in meters. All elements are logically grouped, layered, and named for easy navigation.
