Yes, my initial project had several flaws, as anyone can see by reading through the comments, and it required special attention to be given to the print settings... But I still enjoyed working on it. The main issue for me was that my earbuds didn't fit properly inside it... So, I began designing longer shells; these are shell-a and shell-b files that can be fitted onto the original core: you'll get the cyan-pink version. However, I soon realized that there still wasn't enough space to accommodate the wires. So, I increased both the depth of the shells and the core as well... I printed the core in PLA+ using 210 degrees, a 30% infill density, and a 1.2mm wall thickness while printing vertically, and it turned out even harder than my previous print made with simple PLA that had broken.
