Hearing Protection Ear Muffs For effective hearing protection, these ear muffs are designed to be used in conjunction with custom-made ear pads. Aviation headset pads can be purchased inexpensively on eBay or created from foam plastic or rubber materials. The required pad dimensions are approximately 10cm x 8cm outside and 6cm x 4cm inside. The pads will conform to these sizes when bent and stretched, as long as they are within about 1cm of the specified measurements. Printed Components: 2 ear muffs 2 muff bands 1 muff band clip Assembly Instructions: Locate the two ear muffs within the muff bands. Glue the muff bands together to secure the muffs in place. Attach the muff band clip to the top of the bands for added structural integrity. Use acetone melt glue for ABS plastics or Super Glue for other types of plastic. Insert a custom-cut piece of foam into each ear muff, followed by the placement of the ear pads.
