Ear buds holder

Ear buds holder

I designed yet another Ear_buds_holder because existing options were not up to my standards. I required maximum protection in an ultra-compact package, which led me to create this cased design. Due to the varying widths of ear buds, two designs are available - 32mm and 37 mm wide. Measure your ear buds from back to back to determine which size you'll need. To assemble the holder, insert your ear buds first, placing them right to the right and left to the left for optimal fit. Secure them with the 3.5 mm jack, except for Apple users who will use their proprietary plug instead. Then, wrap any remaining wire around the case and secure it in place. This design prints without support, consisting of two nearly identical halves for the holder and one case. The main difference between these parts is the lip that makes opening the combination of the holder and case a breeze. When printed on my MK3, the two parts fit together securely; however, users with other printers may need to use sandpaper or glue to achieve a sturdy connection. The case was not printed in vase-mode, with walls measuring 0.8 mm thick. Initially, I had designed a single holder that accommodated both 3.5mm jacks and the new Apple plug. However, the tiny size of the Apple plug made it challenging to secure ear buds properly and wind all wires together. Perhaps someone with a better understanding of Apple's design can suggest an alternative for these holders. I hope this design meets your needs and is put to good use.
