I've redesigned the components of a furniture glide system, specifically tailored for a reproduction Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman. My latest creation involves replacing the standard shaft assembly with a robust ball and socket setup, perfectly compatible with an 11mm shaft. Key details of my innovative design include: A straightforward installation process where you simply insert the designed shaft into a precisely created 11mm hole at the base of your replica Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman. A self-leveling system incorporated within the design allows for perfect floor adaptation. Manufactured using advanced technology, my model was printed in ABS with layer height precision and dense infill intervals every two layers. A powerful machine from Powerspec, specifically their 3D Pro, played a pivotal role in its creation.
