Eakins microscope extension for rubber eye-guards

I've been frustrated by eyelashes that are too long and keep touching the lenses of my eyepieces. This has made it very annoying to use them. Furthermore, leaning my eye or head against the rubber eye-guards restricts the field of view. Keeping my eye or head at a comfortable distance from the eyepieces is tiresome after a while. With this extension, I can lean my eye or head against the rubber eye-guards and still get an unobstructed field of view - as long as it works for me, that is.
