When I placed the GPS device into the depression on the XUAV drone, it refused to stay put. So, I created a custom holder for the GPS unit. The central hole accommodates the GPS clip screw. This part was printed in black ABS with 0.2mm layer thickness. It features a moderate infill of 25%, which translates to full honeycomb patterns when processed through Simplify3D. Prior to support removal, the total weight was under 10 grams. To enhance its aesthetic appeal and improve adhesion, I subjected it to acetone vapor treatment. The bottom surface was then sanded for better bonding with EPO. A small amount of Foam-Tac glue ensured a secure fit into place. The associated Sketchup file has been uploaded in the 2017 edition format; feel free to modify or alter it as needed.
