Eagle Tree Antenna Tracker
thingiverse
I've been eager to rebuild my eagle tree antenna tracker for a long while now, and finally, I've got it done. I have two old 6000 series bearings that measure dD 10mm x DD 26mm x W 8mm, and I plan to use the tilt part from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2994928. Feel free to leave a comment if you have any questions. I'm using two MG995 servos, whose dimensions look very similar to HS-8335SH, so I'm guessing it will work by using that tilt. 1/14/2019 update: It works perfectly! I got two small bearings from two old 2212 motors (dD 3mm*DD 8mm*W 4mm). I've added a new "circle.STL" file, which is for the small bearings to mount on the tilt using one 3mm screw. The same goes for the "servoarm.STL". My ugly flat antenna now uses "antmount.STL" to mount on the tilt. When I tried to mount the servo to the tilt, the wire got stuck, so I disassembled the servo to make the wire pass through the tilt. I might create a more compact one for the 5.8G systems in the future. For more accurate results, I recommend using 0.2mm layer settings for the smaller components. Remember, don't mount the adapter upside down, or it will be unstable.
