Eagle carving 3D scan

Eagle carving 3D scan

myminifactory

I recently created a 3D scan of an eagle carving I purchased in the Philippines during the 1990s. The carving is handcrafted and boasts a unique design, making it stand out from mass-produced items. I utilized my XYZPrinting hand scanner v1.0A to capture its intricate details and was impressed with the outcome. I've included images showcasing the model before and after removing support material, which was successfully printed using wood-infused PLA filament. Notably, removing support and cleaning proved easier compared to standard filament, likely due to the wood PLA's properties. My intention for uploading this design was to complement a blog post detailing my experiences with 3D printing utilizing wood-infused PLA. If you're interested in learning more about this process, I've included a link below: https://cncmakerzone.co.uk/3d-printing-with-wood-infused-pla-filament
