Print the lens template and use it to draw and cut the original one. Alternatively, you can purchase a Fresnel lens from Amazon at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ZPS7NO8 and try using it with the provided template to cut out your own lens. If you're pleased with the results, feel free to attempt cutting out the original one. Next, print two sliders and replace the originals. This will give you two new positions in which to place the lens as close to your eyes as necessary for optimal focus. I've also included a slider.gcode file that you can use to print it diagonally at an angle of less than 45 degrees, minimizing support material.
