The Eachine Racer 250 Pro is an attractive drone considering its price tag. Nevertheless, one glaring design flaw must be addressed before flying - the VTX antenna's RP-SMA connector. This crucial connection relies solely on soldering to the VTX itself. As a result, your first crash will inevitably break this fragile link. The VTX's hefty $25 price tag only adds insult to injury. After suffering through this mistake firsthand, I crafted an antenna relocator that serves multiple purposes. Firstly, it provides a sacrificial component to break in a crash, significantly stronger than the original connection. Consequently, I've yet to experience any issues with it shattering. Furthermore, this ingenious design moves the antenna away from the battery's XT60 connector, eliminating potential interference and damage risks. If you forget to secure the antenna before attaching a battery, this relocator spares your VTX from instant destruction. This solution has worked seamlessly for me, and I hope it proves equally effective for fellow pilots. To create this essential component, I employed an extension cable, specifically designed by Amazon (B072JVMV2R). Fortunately, I've noticed no discernible video signal degradation as a result of using this setup.
