Eachine Racer 250 Arm
thingiverse
This is a heavy-duty replacement arm designed specifically for the Eachine Racer 250. While the factory-designed molded ABS holds up well, it falls short when printed due to its inherent weakness. To address this issue, I created a beefed-up arm that offers both ease of printing and impressive strength at an ultra-lightweight weight. In fact, Cura estimates this arm weighs only 2 grams more than the original factory replacement, thanks to the elimination of unnecessary threaded inserts and carbon fiber spacers. This streamlined design allows for easy installation using either factory screws or #6 x 3/8" fasteners directly into the plastic, eliminating the need for spacers altogether. Print Settings: Printer: Wanhao Duplicator i3 Rafts: The raft option is entirely up to personal preference. Supports: Yes, supports are recommended to ensure a smooth print. Resolution: A resolution of 0.2mm ensures crisp details and precise printing. Infill: Infill density at 20% provides an excellent balance between weight and structural integrity. Notes: This arm performs exceptionally well in ABS, but also works flawlessly with PLA and PETG materials. Post-Printing: A light sanding may be required for the rear arms to clear the battery plate, depending on the printer's calibration level.
