I've discovered that over time, the foam hole for the spar on the Fury wing tends to warp into more of a cone shape, resulting in a poor fit on the spar. Moreover, if you push this wing hard enough, you can actually cause it to fold by having the spar tear through the thin foam layer at the bottom of the wing cord. To prevent this from happening, I designed inserts that are meant to slide into the spar holes. These inserts act as a plastic sleeve for the carbon spar and provide much better support than just bare foam alone. Additionally, they can be securely fastened to the original spar holes using foam-safe CA glue to prevent the spar from breaking through the bottom of the wing foam. You may find that you need to sand down the inside diameter slightly to allow the spar to pass through. It's meant to fit snugly but not so tightly that it prevents the wings from popping off in the event of a crash. Make sure the lip around the hole is flush with the rest of the wing foam, or else it will prevent the magnets on the FPV pod from creating a tight seal with the wing magnets. The 50mm version is designed for people who are buying this wing brand new and intend to install this mod before putting the airframe through any serious use. The 100mm version is meant for those who have already started to experience issues with their spar tube diameter or have had a wing fold.
