Eachine EX100 Prop Guards

Eachine EX100 Prop Guards

thingiverse

Inspired by Hty79's Eachine Tiny QX80 8.5mm Prop Guard on Thingiverse, I designed prop guards for the Eachine EX100. Weighing only four grams, they provide essential stability to the frame. Building them with PET-G offers flexibility for handling bumps and impacts. Print Settings: Printer: Tronxy X3 Rafts: Irrelevant Supports: None needed Resolution: 0.2mm or better required Infill: Twenty percent infill recommended; however, reduced infill may not be critical due to minimal structural demands. Notes: To accommodate the motors' flexibility requirements, PET-G is the preferred material for printing. ABS might also work, but I have not tested it. PLA and other rigid filaments are unsuitable as they will likely crack under stress. Printable with 0.4mm or smaller nozzles. I employed a 0.2 layer height using a 0.4 nozzle, resulting in four layers for the top and bottom (0.8 mm) and two perimeter outlines/shells (0.8 mm).
