Eachine E180 servo horn
thingiverse
This is a part that often breaks in a crash. And this particular heli loves to crash. It begs for it, all the time! As soon as I plug in the battery I hear a whisper in my ear: 'Fly me crazy, crash me hard!' ;-)If you don't have any spare servo horns at hand after your latest crash, then these may help. You may have to tinker a bit with your 3D printer settings or even with the parameters in the OpenSCAD file in order to get them to fit just right.A WORD OF CAUTION:When printed correctly, these servo horns are strong enough for the kind of helicopter they are intended for: small 200-class helicopters like the Eachine E180 featuring nano size servos that weigh 4.3 grams, with an estimated maximum of 1 kg/cm force.Such 3D-printed servo horns are not suitable for larger, more dangerous RC helicopters with more powerful servos exceeding 1 kg/cm, as they lack both the needed strength and long-term reliability of a metal or molded plastic part.Fly safe!
