Eachine Aurora 90 battery lock
thingiverse
Important: The battery lock is scaled to 1000%. Before print you got to reduce the scale to 10% in your slicer software. I didn't like the battery lock of my Eachine Aurora 90 drone (strap), so I decided to make a new one that besides locking the battery, would help level the drone when it was being armed. My tests showed that printing with PLA produced excellent results. The version with a 2mm wide lock weighs 0.5 gram each, which means two locks will add a maximum of 1 gram to your drone. I also made a 3mm wide version that is more robust but a bit harder to lock and remove. The lock was designed specifically for my Turnigy Bolt 500mah 2S battery, which is 3cm wide and 1cm high. If the battery is smaller than this size, the latch may become loose, so I don't recommend using it for smaller batteries. I didn't experience any serious crashes that would test the resistance of the latch in bigger impacts, but it performed well during my flights indoors. Two locks are sufficient to hold the battery tightly in place.
