Remix of E3Dv6 Shroud and 40 mm Duct w/ Magnetic Coupler for 6x3mm Magnets Maybe a rethink rather than a remix is in order. After adjusting the sizes of the original files, I soon discovered that holes need to be tight but not too tight for magnets. After a few iterations and glues, I thought I had it right, but one magnet pulled out, so I decided to rethink the idea and make it user-friendly. Magnets now slide in from the rear with ease, held securely by a little hot glue. I designed a low-profile 40mm-to-30mm fan duct that's a real winner. UPDATE: After some concerns over my initial idea of having about 1mm of separation between magnets, I took another look. Instead of one 5x2mm magnet per hole, I used two, and it's now pretty secure. I'm not sure if doubling up magnets is okay, but I've ordered some super-strong 5x5mm N52 magnets to see how they hold. Parts: 4 x 5x2mm magnets (or 8 if you want to double them up) 2 x M3 8mm caphead bolts (use 4 if you need more) 2 x 40mm fans 8 x 2mm zip ties Note: This design is specifically for a Genuine E3Dv6 hotend.
