This design provides the mount of the E3D V6 hottend from Triangle Lab based on compliant features, that guarantee good adjustment directly after printing. Tension of the belts realized same way as on this design https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3965545 It is also possible to install the BL touch. This assembly lighter by 30% than the original one (120g instead of 170g). Your comments and feedbacks will be appreciated. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ For this assembly you will need: 2x M4 nuts, I would recommend locking nuts 2X M4 screws, I would recommend set screws of 12 - 20 mm length 1x M4 nut 1x M4 x 25 screw 5x M3 plastic inserts 6x M3x6 screws, one more for BL Touch mount 1x Fan 5015 For better fixture of the hottend in this holder I've used compliant features, I would recommend to print two test parts ( tensioner_block_testprint.STL and tensioner_body_v2_testprint.STL) to verify if it works for your printer. In my case these parts work straight from the printer. In my first attempt I observed some issues with this design: 1) It was impossible to remove the belts from holder once they were inserted, I've corrected this by using additional parts "belt fixture" that can be easily removed if you will need to replace the belts. 2) It was impossible to insert the locking part for PTFE tube when all parts were assembled, I've designed custom tube lock that can be easily inserted and removed. I would recommend to print Tube lock.STL and Locking test.STL to verify if it is work for your printer. 3) Fan duct was too close to the hottend, this was corrected. In my case the fan that was delivered with E3D V6 hottend was way more loud than the original one, so I've swapped the fans. If you plan to upgrade your printer with E3D V6 hottend and this mount I would recommend to not cut your belts on the original hottend, but you can simply attach it as on the first photo after that you can hide the ends of the belts inside the mount plate as on the second photo, it will not obstruct to the movements. While installing the new assembly I would recommend to leave about 40 mm of the belt as it is indicated on the third photo or here https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3965545 To print main parts I would recommend the orientations as it is indicated on the fourth image. And the same orientation for the test parts. 27.10.2020 Flexure feature in the part "Tension body" was improved. V2 created.
