E3Dv6 Bowden X-carriage mount
thingiverse
This is a custom mount for the E3DV6 hotend designed specifically for the Anet A8. The original design from Tech2C had a significant flaw, resulting in approximately 25mm of lost print bed space. Achmed20 successfully addressed this issue, but I aimed to create a more refined and less exposed design. I retained the nozzle location to avoid complications with Skynet settings, which can be challenging to configure correctly. The hotend clamp requires bolts, while tiny screws are needed to secure the duct in place. Some users may experience slight fitting issues, as seen in the provided images. To resolve this, you might need to sand the clamp for a perfect fit. I haven't done so yet due to lack of motivation. Here's what you'll require: * E3D Fan Duct: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:547325 * Prusa X carriage remix (I used the Drylin RJ4JP-01-08, which necessitated the 46mm version): https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2166790 For optimal performance, I recommend using the following Skynet settings: X_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER: -20 Y_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER: 10 Z_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER: -1 Additionally, you'll need to configure these parameters: X_MAX_POS: 240 X_MIN_POS: -20 Y_MAX_POS: 220 Y_MIN_POS: -10 Z_MAX_POS: 240 Z_MIN_POS: 0 LEFT_PROBE_BED_POSITION: 20 RIGHT_PROBE_BED_POSITION: 210 BACK_PROBE_BED_POSITION: 220 FRONT_PROBE_BED_POSITION: 30 I've personally avoided using the autolevel sensor due to past negative experiences. As a result, this design does not include a sensor mount.
