E3D+VET exercise: EU borders
myminifactory
This is part of the series of 30 exercises developed during the E3D+VET program, designed for immersion in 3D printing at VET centers (website: https://www.e3dplusvet.eu/). The model consists of 12 independent pieces, each representing a 3D printed rough outline of an EU country's borders. All pieces will fit together as a central Europe puzzle. The countries represented are: 1) Italy 2) Spain 3) France 4) Germany 5) Portugal 6) Austria 7) Hungary 8) Slovakia 9) Czech Republic 10) Poland 11) Belgium 12) Netherlands Only the borders should be 3D printed, with a thickness of 3 millimeters and a height of about 5 mm. This will ensure robust structures that can hold their shape. The size scale of all countries must be identical to fit together seamlessly as a central Europe puzzle. The map was designed to be large enough to fill the entire support. The 500x700 mm support will be made from a 3mm recycled wood panel, providing a stable base for the map and ensuring it can be securely fixed to the wall.
