E3D+VET exercise: Composite Bodies

thingiverse

This is part of the series of 30 exercises developed during the E3D+VET program. The aim of this Erasmus+ program is to immerse VET centers in 3D printing (visit https://www.e3dplusvet.eu/). There are 12 models of composite geometric bodies, each with six different configurations: one model labeled with Braille and another with black text that stands out well. Models five and six consist of two parts. For Braille or computer characters, note the following sizes: A shape is a Braille character with up to eight points. The size of palpable Braille characters is 6-7 mm, with common dimensions including point distances of 2.5 mm, point thickness of 1.5 mm (diameter), form distances of 6 mm, line spacing of 10 mm, and a minimum height of 0.4 mm. See also http://www.braille.ch/abstand.htm for more information. An appropriate font is included: EURO 800.ttf. The script must be printed with precision and either painted with a black pen or printed in two colors. The color of the Braille models doesn't matter, but black-text models should be printed in light colors to make lettering stand out well.
