This is a custom adapter kit designed specifically for use with an E3D V6 hotend on the Wanhao D5S 3D printer. While I haven't personally tested this setup on the smaller D5S Mini model, it's worth noting that compatibility may vary. For my build, I'm using the stock heater cartridge that came with the D5S and the temperature sensor from the same printer. However, as soon as I receive the E3D V6 thermistor cartridge, I'll be swapping it in to test its performance. In terms of mechanical attachment, I've utilized the set screws originally used on the extruder assembly to secure the bearing into place.
