In pursuit of a compact fan duct for my Kossel XL, I came across the Mini Kossel E3D V6 Effector & 30mm Duct Fan (thing:1373201). The design appeals to me because it is remarkably small and efficiently cools both the hotend and object. A notable advantage is that it does not blow directly against the hotend, which I believe is a significant improvement over other fan ducts. Unfortunately, the unmodified version was unsuitable for my E3D v6 with vulcano heater block due to its slightly increased length. Using Tinkercad's capabilities, I adapted the design to fit my specific setup. The aluminum end effector featured in the photos was purchased from robotdigg.
