E3D V6 Mount with Fan for CTC / Flashforge / Replicator
myminifactory
I wasn't really satisfied with the available E3D V6 Mounts for my CTC, so I decided to create my own unique version. There are three versions available - they're all distinct, yet share a common thread! I would hardly recommend Version 003 for single or Version 004 for dual setup. To assemble the mount, you'll need four M3 nuts, two M3x30 screws (the style of the head doesn't matter, but the designs are specifically for countersunk), two to four screws to secure the 40 mm fan, two M3x20 screws to attach the entire thing to the extruder carriage, and one push-in fitting for the 4mm (OD) bowden tube. For the extruder, I used the standard spring-loaded extruder and mounted it using the 000 parts on the back - the CTC already has the correct mounting holes. Version 001 is a straightforward design that mounts the hotend in the center, allowing you to use your own fan shroud design. Version 002 replaces the stock fan with a 40 mm fan and includes a design for a part cooler. I also included a design for a part cooler for Versions 001 and 002. Version 003 mounts the E3D V6 near its original position on the right extruder and includes a part cooler for a 40mm fan. Version 004 is designed specifically for a Dual E3D V6 setup, while Version 005 allows you to adjust the nozzle height around 1mm - this way, if your hotends aren't exactly the same length, you can fine-tune their position.
