E3D V6 in OpenSCAD
thingiverse
An STL in OpenSCAD accurately models an E3D V6 for verifying mount or fan duct fitment. This representation matches the official E3D drawings as of December 2017 with precision. Two STLs are available: one without a heatsink duct and another utilizing the authentic E3D heatsink duct model created by Josh from E3D on Thingiverse. I couldn't find an accurate STL based on the E3D drawings, so I designed my own. My primary focus was ensuring the correct nozzle height rather than replicating every detail of the heater block or fan with precision. The silicone sock is modeled for horizontal placement only.
