E3d V6 hotend mount for Prusa i3
thingiverse
A versatile all-in-one Bowden E3D V6 and Lite6 mount designed specifically for Geeetech i3 type X-carriages, similar to this one: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1643930. The fan shroud's asymmetrical design allows for effortless rotation of the hotend with wires facing backwards, making it simple to route the hotend wires neatly through the slot in the mounting bracket. To assemble this mount, you will need 12 self-tapping M3 screws measuring 15mm in length for securing the fans and two 8mm self-tapping M3 screws for attaching the fan shroud to the hotend mount. Regular M3 screws can also be used, but may not provide the same level of reliability. For a sturdy hold, use two 30mm regular M3 screws and nuts to attach the bracket to the X-carriage. ABS or PETG are recommended printing materials; PLA may also work well. The fan grills featured in the picture are available at: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2802474.
