Work in progress (?)

I get heat creeps with this build and constant clogs. Apparently the hot end cooling is not sufficient.

This is a simple mount for the E3D V6 hotend for Biqu B1 printer.

tl:dr

Print both parts, drill the top metal plate, assemble back using 6x M3 nut, 2x M3x6 screw and 4x M3x10 screws.

Original hotend can't be run at ABS temperatures (or even PETG), also it has it's own issues (mine clogged few times and even cold pull didn't helped), so it is a reasonable to switch for something better.

The Biqu hotend had threaded holes for M3 screws at the top, while V6 expects a kind of collar to hold it. That's why it is needed to drill new holes in the plate.

I provide a template for you to print and glue on the plate, to help you mark the positions. Print the Heizblech.pdf at 100% scale (no "fit to page" or anything), or use DXF directly. Second PDF provides you the dimensions in readable version.

Once you got the holes right, print both the halves and install the hotend.

You can leave the heatblock from Biqu, and just screw the heatbrake with heatsink into the block - that way you don't have to fiddle with heater cartridge and sensor.

Hotend fan needs to be installed outside now (due to space constraints), and you also need new fan duct (work in progress, gonna provide one soon).

Be careful when disassembling and reassembling the hotend - the PCB is very fragile, but the threads in aluminium are not too robust either - I overdid it twice and had to put longer screw and nut on the other side to hold it properly.

You need to move hotend fan outside too - the original screws are long enough, but you need 4x M3 nut.
