This is a versatile mounting adapter designed for the E3D v6 hotend, specifically engineered for use on Creality CR7, CR8 / Afinibot / HURricane 3d printers. The adapter was inspired by SYBU's innovative mount design found on thingiverse.com/thing:1397731. The mount features a modular design that allows designers to create custom add-ons. The included add-on bracket has a built-in cable tie down for securing the heater, thermistors, and fan on the left-hand side of the extruder. On the right-hand side, the bracket will hold an inductive sensor for auto-bed leveling. Dimensional information for the groove is provided, enabling users to design new add-on brackets if desired.
