I designed a custom LED ramp holder and separate LED ramp for my printer, which is still a work in progress, so I will upload more pictures and details later. Edit: Today, I uploaded an updated LED ring file that has fixed bugs. Standard soldering techniques are highly recommended, as I found SMD LEDs to be extremely difficult to solder. Standard 3-5 mm LEDs fit perfectly, but it's up to you how you connect them if you choose 12V LEDs; resistors aren't necessary in this case. Have fun!
