This adapter works for Single or Double E3D V6 hot-end for Replicator 1, 2, or clones. The majority of parts used come from the original makerbot, including thermocouple, heat cartridge, cooling fan, and filament blower. It can be used with stock x-axis carriage, but the included carriage is recommended as it provides better clearance. Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator 2 Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 (Normal) Infill: 10% Notes: 1) The hot-end sits higher than regular hot-end due to the need for the cooling fan to cool the entire heatsink. Also, use the air-flow tray to direct more cooling fan air across the heatsink and not down into the nozzle. 2) Hardware used: Clamp screws: single - 2x M3 35mm, double - 4x M3 35mm Fan: single - 2x M3 12mm, double - 4x M3 12mm Filament blower: 2x M4 20mm Filament-tube hold to blower/cable hold mount: 1x M3 12mm 3) The clamp screws DO NOT go through the cooling fan. This is by design, and only the screws at the bottom of the fan hold it in place - 2x M3 12mm.
