360-degree fan shroud designed specifically for Printrbot Simple Metal printers equipped with E3D-V6 hotends. This innovative shroud features an internal airflow 'divider' aimed at directing more air towards the far end of the shroud, which may result in a slightly higher noise level compared to other options. Keep in mind that this design sacrifices some quiet operation for enhanced airflow performance. The shroud incorporates self-tapping M3 screw holes, eliminating the need for nuts during installation. To ensure secure mounting, attach the fan to the exterior of the printer's frame. Updated model V3 has been uploaded, featuring a complete overhaul from scratch and available in both standard and airflow divider configurations. Additionally, a 5mm shorter version of the shroud is now also available for download.
