e3d v6 fan duct
prusaprinters

I couldn't find a v6 cooling fan that I liked, so I made my own.

This is largely meant to work with the mount I made as well, but would likely be compatible with other mounting solutions.

You will likely want to put some metal tape around the tips of the duct, as this will protect it from melting next to the heaterblock. I have a silicone sock on my heaterblock as well as the tape, and it seems to be working ok.

Uses a 50x20 blower fan, with an opening that is 26x12mm in size

I have included the STEP files so it can be adjusted easily to fit different fans.

If you have a fan you want it to work with, give me dimensions and I can upload a modified version as well.

My mount I designed to use with an inductive sensor. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3566562

It is based on this part, which would also work with this duct. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1438795
Category: 3D Printer Accessories
