e3d v6 fan duct
thingiverse
I found this fan duct and adapted it for use with my 4028 fan - it worked well initially but proved too long with the e3d V6. To solve this issue, I modified the design by shortening its length to better fit around the heater. A new addition was a staircase leading off the cooling fins, greatly improving overall stability during operation. Moreover, a hole has been added to the top of the duct allowing for attachment using an M3 nut, which can then be connected with the effector - even my 4028 works flawlessly in this configuration. To provide extra versatility, two holes are also positioned on either side. These enable users to secure the duct firmly to their heater by means of ties or any other desired method. I hope you enjoy and appreciate this redesign.
