I crafted the fan to perfectly suit my requirements, and it's working fantastically well now. Every single component fits together seamlessly. I've heavily reinforced and modified many of the original parts, yet I still plan to give credit to the original creators as soon as I track them down. Two screws and nuts will be required for the hot end, and possibly some drill holes to ensure a perfect fit. I've also strengthened the mounts and added a new one for the proximity sensor, plus cut out a section for the Bowden tube. Additionally, I installed a wiring post for zip ties, keeping everything tidy with minimal clutter. The prints turn out great, too - it's a clean and neat setup that works beautifully on my Ender 3.
