This fan duct was designed specifically for fans with low static pressure, making it ideal for silent operation. I've found that it restricts airflow significantly less than other designs I've used in the past. I'm currently using this mount on my E3D V6 Clone, paired with a NB-BlackSilentfan XM-2 40x40x10 fan. The installation process is incredibly straightforward - the duct simply slides onto the heatsink from above. One of the best features of this design is that it doesn't require you to dismount your E3D V6. This makes the entire process much faster and easier to complete.
