Material choice plays a significant role in this process, with PLA being particularly fragile. This version fits together with a decent snap when printed using PETG at 240C temperatures. <UPDATE 10.24.17> Thanks to friend Charles, several clearance issues were resolved and additional adjustments were made to enhance the snap fit feature. <UPDATE 10.10.17> Snap fit was reduced after reports of it being too tight, causing some failures when trying to install on the E3DV6. E3D V6 Clone fan duct designed for easy installation by clipping over cooling fins with a 22.3mm fin diameter. This design is specifically tailored for use with this E3DV6 universal mount: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2099577 Instructions: Print the fan side down to ensure secure installation. Reduce infill to minimize breaking when installing or removing. Taulman T-Glase was used, but PETG would be a suitable alternative due to its high temperature resistance and flexibility benefits. PLA is not recommended due to its fragile nature. Use 3 mm nuts and bolts for a secure fit.
