I chose to design a detachable fan shield for my E3D as I inadvertently damaged the screws, rendering conventional fan shields ineffective. If you're experiencing a similar predicament or desire a fan shield that can be clipped on and off with ease, I'm sharing my remedy. Please note that this may or may not fit other 30mm fans.
