Update Nov 5, 2019: Added STEP and IGES source files. Adjustable part cooling duct for E3D v6 with 5015 fan blower. **I'd love to see your make - please publish :)** **Consider a tip if you like my work :)** The air flow has been CFD optimized ensuring equal air distribution into three areas: before, below and behind the nozzle. The part cooling duct should be positioned 1-2 mm higher than nozzle end. The height can be adjusted in 1mm steps. The clip is derived from one of my other designs: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3590309 Printing: Clip - for the best strength print clip in original horizontal orientation - requires support. Nozzle duct - print flat, no supports Link - print flat, no supports Material: PET-G or ABS Layer height: 0.2 mm Parts: 1 x 5015 fan blower 2 x M3 20 mm bolt 2 x M3 7-10 mm bolt 1 x M3 30 mm bolt or 2x zip ties 5 x M3 nut Assemble: 1. Make sure 'link' slides into 'clip' with some resistance, but easy enough to allow adjustment once the set is mounted on Y carriage. If it's too tight use file to increase clearance between two parts. Disconnect parts. 2. Mount clip on heatsink, tighten it with M3x30 bolt or zip ties 3. Cut out marked piece in 'nozzle fan' to let fan slide fully into place 4. Join 'nozzle fan' with 'link' with M3x7-10 bolts 5. Attach fan blower and secure it with M3x20 bolts 6. Slide link into clip until 'nozzle fan' is 1-2 mm higher than nozzle end Check out my other designs: https://www.thingiverse.com/DaVinci2000/designs
