E3D V6 50mm Fan Duct (high airflow version - see video below)
thingiverse
I searched for a 50mm fan duct and found the version from VeryEvilBetty (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:860872). But this and many other fan duct designs have a design flaw that really screws things up. The airflow is pretty weak, to be honest. So I decided to remix the design and make it much, much better. The airflow is now incredibly strong, allowing me to reduce the fan speed to an even lower level. As a result, there's much less noise and the temperature of the part from the hotend that needs cooling is also lower. I added just 1mm holes for the screws on the fan, so you can drill them out to any size you need for your screws. The small notch should be on the top side. It prevents the fan duct from sliding down and gives it a bit more stability. Just use some heat shrinking tube to isolate the step-down converter. EDIT: I changed the design of the screw holes. There are now two versions. One with 2.4mm holes (40x40) and one for M3 screws and M3 nuts (40x40).
