It has been thoroughly checked to ensure a snug fit around the fins, although it hasn't undergone testing to verify compatibility with a hot end holder. This design has been engineered to be securely held in place using an M3 bolt and nut, but the holes are precision-drilled to accommodate an M3 screw that can thread directly into the plastic without requiring a nut. The use of a nut is entirely optional.
