E3D V6 40mm Fan Guard
thingiverse
I was checking out a YouTube video from Toys in the Attic about modifying the Monoprice Select Mini when I saw their custom fan guard and wanted it for myself. I reached out to them to see if they still had the files, but unfortunately, they couldn't find them. Deciding to take matters into my own hands, I created my own version of the fan guard. Using a screenshot from their video, I converted the "V6" model to an STL file and combined it with another fan guard design by Pyrex238 that I liked. The Noctua 40mm fan I was using has M5 screw holes, but the existing guard had holes that were too small for them, so I ended up drilling them out to fit a 4mm diameter instead.
