Based on loco's E3d v6 40mm Fan Duct, I modified the model to be a snap-on fit in PLA, adding zip tie tabs for secure mounting, wire management, or other uses. Caution: I haven't tested the durability of the PLA over time, but if problems arise, I'll report back. Since the hot end faces forward, the shroud shouldn't touch it, eliminating direct melting concerns. If the shroud won't slide on, ensure the lip rides the top fin of the heatsink; if not, flip it over. It snapped onto my Hatchbox PLA, but PLA that's too crispy and brittle may fail to snap in place. A tight fit is expected, so a well-calibrated printer is necessary. If the print is still too tight horizontally, scale up to 1.01x. May need supports for a pretty zip tie bridge, but it's thick enough to handle a little sagging. I arched the bridge to minimize sagging, making supports unnecessary unless you're extremely detail-oriented. Printer: Monoprice Select Mini Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 100% Notes: Print fan mount side down.
